Radiology - CT Tech

CT Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Position requires 8-hour shifts from 06:30 to 15:00 or 14:30 to 23:00, Monday to Friday, with 2-3 weekends per month.

The CT Technologist will perform various imaging procedures at both an outpatient facility and a hospital setting as needed. This role will involve the use of advanced imaging technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients across different age groups, including adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on patients in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast media.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for interpretation and subsequent patient care management.
• Ensure proper functioning of CT equipment and report any discrepancies.
• Provide excellent patient care and support throughout the imaging process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
• MUST possess CT certification from the ARRT.
• BLS certification is not required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Must be licensed to practice as a CT Tech in the relevant state.
