Radiation Oncologist

The Mass General Brigham Department of Radiation Oncology is recruiting an MD, DO, DO/PhD, or MD/PhD, board‑eligible or board‑certified radiation oncologist for a clinical, academic rank at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and track record. Harvard Medical School appointments require approval and a minimum of 50 hours per year of teaching Harvard learners. Candidates must have completed their residency in an ACGME‑accredited radiation oncology program and/or fellowship in an accredited US training program and have a track record of excellence in clinical care and research. The candidate must have exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills and a desire to work as part of a collegial, collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team.

This job could be situated at our Academic Medical Centers in Boston (Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Mass General Hospital) and/or at a network location(s). The Radiation Oncology Department is equipped with Varian linear accelerators with integrated imaging capabilities, a proton cyclotron with 3 treatment rooms, a single gantry proton synchrotron, an MR‑Linac, GE & Siemens CT Simulators, Siemens MR Simulator, HDR brachytherapy suites, and Raystation, Eclipse, and Oncentra treatment planning systems. The department, including our network‑based locations, treats over 1000 patients per day. The department is fully supported by a talented team of radiation therapists, dosimetrists, medical physicists, nurses, advanced practice providers, and administrative support staff.
