We are currently hiring for a Manufacturing Technician opportunity in Redwood City, CA with a leading pharmaceutical company.
Job Details:Position: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Redwood City, CA
Pay: $25-$31/hr
Duration: 12-month assignment
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM-2:00 PM
Environment: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing About the Role:
This position will support pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing operations in a regulated GMP environment. The ideal candidate will have some production or manufacturing experience and be comfortable working with PPE, operating and setting up equipment, following detailed procedures, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Support pharmaceutical manufacturing processes while following GMP, safety, and environmental requirements
- Wear required PPE, including a Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) for the majority of the workday
- Set up and operate manufacturing line equipment according to established settings and parameters
- Handle raw materials and products while ensuring adherence to specifications and production schedules
- Perform preventative maintenance on small equipment such as heat sealers, mixers, and conductivity meters
- Support production targets, line performance, and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment and promptly report potential safety concerns
- Participate in required training and support projects and other manufacturing activities as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Production or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience working in a GMP or regulated environment preferred
- Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and detailed manufacturing instructions
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, kneeling, walking, pushing/pulling, climbing stairs, and lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
