Registered Nurse - LDRP (Night Shift)

Location: New York

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a LDRP position. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of relevant experience and hold a valid New York nursing license prior to submittal.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetrical patients, including high-risk antepartum and postpartum care.
• Assist with labor and delivery, including the use of intrauterine pressure catheters and recovery from C-sections.
• Perform neonatal assessments, discharge teaching to parents, and provide lactation support.
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rates, and take appropriate actions based on findings.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy including anticoagulation and magnesium sulfate therapy.
• Function independently in a telemetry setting, interpreting cardiac rhythms and implementing necessary interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• MUST have a valid New York Nursing License in hand prior to submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a LDRP setting.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate are required.
