Field Services Representative

Overview Medline's ReNewal Division is hiring for a Field Services Representative (40 hours/week) in the greater Washington, DC area. Medline ReNewal reprocesses used medical devices to reduce waste and lower costs for facilities that purchase reprocessed devices. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Regional Manager, support the Medline ReNewal Reprocessing Program in the greater Washington, DC area by packing and shipping designated medical devices and performing other agreed tasks with the facility. Establish and follow a regular schedule to visit assigned facilities to collect devices in designated containers. Coordinate the packing of devices in Medline ReNewal shipping containers using proper techniques to ensure safe shipment. Arrange for shipment of collection containers in a timely manner. Update the Medline ReNewal Collection Container Locations sheet to maintain an accurate record of container placements throughout the facility. Provide support to in-service sessions as directed by the assigned Account Manager. Make regular rounds throughout the facility to introduce Medline ReNewal, answer questions, and share staff concerns with the assigned Account Manager. 100% local travel throughout the greater Washington, DC area (including Northern Virginia). Ensure program supplies remain stocked for use. Distribute program collateral throughout the facility as directed by the assigned Account Manager. Qualifications High School Diploma (GED) preferred. Ability to travel locally 100% of the time around Washington, DC and the surrounding area. Ability to regularly lift at least 30 pounds as a regular part of daily tasks. A current valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, clean driving record, and ability to travel in own vehicle to designated facilities. Able to be credentialed at the highest level to gain admittance to required rooms within each designated facility. Good communication skills, especially verbal. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to complete tasks thoroughly. Self-initiative and dependability to perform the job in an independent setting. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated salary range for this position is $21.75 - $31.50 per hour. The actual salary depends on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
