Dependable Dishwasher / Kitchen StewardThe Club at Las Campanas is seeking a dependable Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our Food & Beverage Culinary team in Santa Fe. If you have experience as a dishwasher, kitchen steward, restaurant worker, kitchen helper, food service worker, or prep cook, we encourage you to apply.Our Dishwashers play an important role in keeping our restaurant kitchen clean, organized, safe, and ready for service. You'll work alongside our cooks and culinary team to maintain clean dishes, glassware, silverware, kitchen equipment, and work areas throughout the day.What You'll DoOperate and properly care for a commercial dishwashing machineWash and maintain dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipmentKeep the kitchen and dishwashing area clean, organized, and ready for serviceRestock the cook's line and dining service areas with clean dishes, glasses, and silverwarePolish silverware and organize clean kitchen suppliesEmpty and clean bus tubs and return them to designated areasRemove trash and maintain clean garbage containersKeep the loading dock and dumpster areas cleanProperly store cleaning supplies and equipmentTransfer kitchen supplies and equipment between storage and work areasAssist the prep cook and culinary team with assigned tasksAssist with putting away food and kitchen stockFollow proper food handling and storage proceduresComplete assigned opening and closing dutiesClean equipment immediately after useHelp clean spills and maintain a safe kitchen environmentSupport the Food & Beverage team as neededThe position's primary purpose is maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and other food-service outlets.What We're Looking ForPrevious dishwasher, restaurant, kitchen, food service, or hospitality experience preferredKnowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment preferredAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant kitchenAbility to follow instructions and established cleaning proceduresAbility to learn and safely work with kitchen equipment and machineryStrong attention to detailGood organizational and multitasking skillsDependable and team-orientedProfessional appearance and attitudeHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredFood handler certification and other applicable permits or certifications as requiredThe Club's job description specifically requires at least one year of food and beverage or hospitality-related experience and identifies commercial dishwasher knowledge as preferred.ScheduleCandidates must be available to work a schedule that may include:Day and evening shiftsWeekendsHolidaysThis position works in a fast-paced kitchen environment and requires schedule flexibility based on restaurant and Club operations.Join Our Culinary TeamIf you're a hardworking and dependable Dishwasher who enjoys being part of a restaurant or culinary team, we'd like to hear from you.Whether your previous experience has been as a Dishwasher, Kitchen Steward, Kitchen Helper, Restaurant Worker, Food Service Worker, or Prep Cook, your experience may be a great fit for The Club at Las Campanas.
