CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Pasadena, TexasA rewarding opportunity is open for a skilled operating room Registered Nurse with specialized experience in cardiovascular procedures. This contract position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced surgical setting in a facility equipped with 14 operating rooms, including 2 dedicated CVORs. The environment fosters collaboration among experienced nurses and surgical technologists, all committed to high-quality patient care.Schedule/Hours:Shifts start at 6:30 am, with a daily huddle at 6:45 amOperating Room functions from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm across staggered room availabilityParticipation in on-call rotation (weekdays and 24-hour weekend coverage), self-scheduling with 12 on-call shifts per weekKey Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of circulating RN experience in an acute care hospital operating roomDemonstrated expertise in a variety of specialities: General Surgery, ENT, Uro/Gyn, Orthopedics, Robotics, and CVOR proceduresCurrent BLS certificationStrong adaptability and excellent performance in high-acuity, ever-changing surgical environmentsPreferred Background:CNOR certificationMore than 5 years of relevant experiencePrimary Responsibilities:Circulate and manage cases for high-volume procedures including robotics, gynecology, ENT, general surgery, colorectal, vascular, and urologyAdhere strictly to unit policies, aseptic protocols, and hospital requirementsParticipate in Preop Holding area support as neededMaintain comprehensive documentation using Meditech ORM EMR systemAdditional Details:Patient ratios are 1:1 for optimal careScrubs are provided onsiteCompliance with strict dress codeno artificial nails of any kindIndividuals who thrive in a collaborative, adaptable, and quality-focused environment are highly encouraged to apply.
