Jungle Driving School Brecksville is currently hiring full-time and part-time classroom and/or behind-the-wheel Instructors to join a growing team of like-minded professionals committed to building something exceptional. Our Brecksville location is the first of multiple planned across the Cleveland area, making this a unique opportunity to get in at the ground level of a growing brand.We will pay for your certification training and licensing, including the background checks needed to start the process.Pay & Benefits:$19.00 - $22.00 per hourPaid training and licensing, plus signing bonus after successful certificationHealth, Dental & Vision insurance (upon meeting eligibility requirements)401k Plan (upon meeting eligibility requirements)Flexible schedulePaid time off (for full-time equivalent employees)Work Location: In personQualifications:Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.Must be at least 21 years old.Must have held a valid drivers license for at least 5 years.Must have a clean driving and criminal record andpass a background check.Must successfully obtain an Ohio Driver Training Instructor License, if not already certified (prior certification is a huge plus!).Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively teach and engage teen drivers.Calm, patient, and safety-focused mindset in high-pressure or unpredictable situations.Prior experience in teaching, coaching, customer service, or law enforcement is preferred, but not required.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach Critical Driving Skills:Lead students through the Jungle Driving approved classroom curriculum while also covering all essential state-required content to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of vehicle operation.Administer tests and quizzes to ensure students retain important information and are ready for the road.In-Vehicle Guidance:Ride along with student drivers, offering real-time feedback and assessing their skills to help them become competent drivers.Help students become familiar with the cars controls, gauges, and the basics of vehicle maintenance for safe, responsible driving.Additional Duties:Provide ongoing feedback to both students and parents as students improve their driving skills.Prepare and submit all state and company required documents for student assessments and certifications.Assist with other related tasks as needed to support our driving program and students success.What Sets You Apart:You take ownership of your work and hold yourself to a high standard without constant oversightYoure dependable, professional, and show up preparedYoure comfortable giving clear, direct feedback while maintaining a positive learning environmentYoure interested in growing with a company, not just filling a roleEmployment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which includes criminal history, motor vehicle records, and sex offender registry reviews.Shape the Future of Safe Drivers!At Jungle Driving School, our instructors unwavering dedication to keeping drivers safe and prepared sets us apart from other schools. Apply today and start your journey with us!What does Ohio Driver Education Instructor Training consist of?You will be required to do observations in a classroom and behind the wheel setting with students taking driver's education courses and then practice teaching at least one classroom and behind the wheel lesson. This training totals 52 hours and is a combination of online and in-person training at a partner driving school. In addition, you will need to complete an 8 hour virtual Basic Instructor Training Course and a 1-hour virtual Sexual Harassment Prevention Course.
