Human Resources Manager

Milne is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team! The HR Manager will lead and manage the company’s human resources programs, policies, compliance, employee relations, recruitment, benefits, and personnel processes. Key Responsibilities Manage recruitment, onboarding, orientations, background checks, I-9s, personnel files, and employee records Administer benefits and annual open enrollment Support performance reviews, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and terminations Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Manage workers’ compensation and unemployment claims Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook Coach and advise managers on employee relations and disciplinary matters Recommend improvements to HR processes, policies, and workplace practices Maintain required employee and applicant documentation Participate in staff meetings and support other HR initiatives as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or some college/technical education combined with at least 3 years of HR experience Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Join the Milne team and make a meaningful impact on our employees and workplace culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ontario Trillium Foundation
