Warehouse Associate

Warehouse AssociateNesco Resource is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations for a steel processing and distribution facility. This role is responsible for pulling orders, loading and unloading materials, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and safely. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, enjoys working in a hands-on environment, and is committed to safety and quality.$20.00 – $25.00/hour, based on experience8:00 AM - 4:30 PM| Monday – FridayKey Responsibilities:Pick and prepare customer orders from warehouse inventoryRetrieve steel materials from storage racks using proper material handling techniquesLoad and unload delivery trucks safely and efficientlyOperate forklifts and overhead cranes (training and certification provided as needed)Feed and unload processing equipment as requiredVerify material dimensions using measuring tools and tape measuresMaintain inventory accuracy and proper material organizationFollow work instructions, company procedures, and safety policiesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentReport equipment issues, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies promptlyQualifications:Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or construction experience preferredForklift experience preferredAbility to read and accurately use a tape measureBasic math skills including measurements and fractionsAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures throughout the yearFrequent standing, walking, bending, and liftingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyRequired PPE includes safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hat, and steel-toe bootsFast-paced environment handling steel and industrial materialsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
