Desktop Support Technician

Description

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Desktop Support Technician / EUC Specialist to support an enterprise-wide iOS migration project replacing existing Panasonic handheld scanners with iPhones across the organization. This individual will support device provisioning, Microsoft Intune enrollment, application configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and post-deployment hypercare. Following the migration, the technician will transition into broader desktop support and EUC responsibilities. iOS Migration Responsibilities: Enroll, provision, and validate iPhones using Microsoft Intune MDM. Troubleshoot iOS device enrollment, configuration, and authentication issues. Assist with Apple ID setup, Microsoft Authenticator, and MFA validation. Configure Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft 365 applications. Validate email, contacts, and calendar functionality. Deploy and troubleshoot RMS and warehouse applications. Support lost, stolen, locked, and replacement device processes. Coordinate device distribution, swaps, and inventory returns. Provide end-user training and distribute quick-reference materials. Track, troubleshoot, and escalate issues during hypercare. Coordinate with First Call support, MDM administrators, and project resources. Monitor user adoption and provide post-deployment support. Maintain accurate device assignment and asset inventory records. Additional EUC Responsibilities: Image, configure, and deploy new Windows computers. Provide walk-in desktop and endpoint support. Assist with hardware deployments and device lifecycle management. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Support ongoing mobile device services and general EUC operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on Microsoft Intune experience supporting iOS devices is required. Hands-on experience imaging and deploying new Windows computers is required. Previous experience in desktop support, EUC, or enterprise IT support. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Professional presence and ability to build relationships with end users. Ability to prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting enterprise device migrations or deployments preferred. Comfortable transitioning from project-based deployment work into ongoing desktop support responsibilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
