Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within their designated unit. They utilize the nursing process, current trends, technology, and resources to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to institutional policies.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform all clinical duties and responsibilities required by the unit scope of service.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and family needs.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of nursing care and interventions.
  
  
• 
  Evaluate patient progress continuously and adjust the care plan accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Promote safety for patients and staff by identifying, reporting, and addressing hazards.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and provide constructive feedback for peer development.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an Illinois state RN license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Successfully complete all departmental competency requirements.
