Senior Project Manager - Large Vertical Construction Project

With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:As a Senior Project Manager, you will serve as an owner’s representative and will ensure that your projects adhere to the client’s requirements and business goals by developing and driving project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating activities within the established project timelines. You will be responsible for understanding and delivering the full scope of Arcadis contracted services across all project phases: planning, design/preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout. In addition, this position includes managing a team of project professionals. You will provide guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight for direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Role accountabilities:Responsible for day-to-day management of the planning, engineering, construction, and handover aspects of the assigned projects and all associated deliverables. Coordinating design reviews, design requirements, and approvals between owner, design team, and contractors. Coordinating, scheduling, and reporting activities related to stakeholder management, facility operations, and project communications. Additional responsibilities include:Ensuring that all appropriate technical standards are applied during the project implementationManaging work to follow state, local, and Federal requirementsEnsuring all deliverables and constructed work are in conformance with the scope and quality standards set forth in the contract documentsProviding timely, accurate progress reports, cash flow and cost of completion forecastsMaintaining project files, meetings records and correspondence, and project controls informationCoordinating with the internal stakeholdersReviewing all purchases, procurement, changes and payments on the projectMonitoring contractor adherence to the prime contractMonitoring contractor adherence to safety standardsRequired Qualifications:10+ years of experienceProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and PMIS systemsBachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.Key Skills and attributes:Experience managing large construction projectsPossess industry certifications, e.g., PMP or CCMHave strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHave critical thinking skills focused on outcomes and solutionsBe capable of managing multiple, complex, unique assignments simultaneouslyExperience with client-facing positions with strong client/stakeholder management capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills that are clear and conciseBe self-motivated, individually accountable, team-oriented, and flexible; have the initiative and ability to tackle new projects and challenges dailyBe health, safety, and quality focusedWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $161,000.
