Material Handler / Scanner
Kelly Professional & Industrial is hiring Material Handlers and Scanners for a warehouse facility in Rural Hall, North Carolina. This is a short-term assignment expected to last approximately three months.
Schedule
1st Shift: 6:00 a.m.2:30 p.m. Overtime schedule may be 5:30 a.m.3:00 p.m. Days: Monday through Friday, with overtime required as needed.
Pay Rates
Material Handler: $16.10 per hour Scanner: $15.10 per hour Employees are paid weekly every Friday.
Job Duties
Material Handler
- Operate a manual pallet jack to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Transport, stage, and organize materials and products.
- Load, unload, and move products as assigned.
- Consistently lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all warehouse and safety procedures.
Scanner
- Scan products accurately using a handheld RF scanner.
- Verify product information, labels, and quantities.
- Sort, stage, and organize products for shipment or storage.
- Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties.
- Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to work required overtime.
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Must be available to start immediately.
