Open up opportunities with HPE.Job Description:What you'll doDesign, develop, deliver, and maintain customer-facing, best-in-class user content.Create a variety of deliverables: concepts and tasks for networking features, in-product help, installation instructions, illustrations, video scripts, and course modules.Produce hands-on learning activities and labs for cloud services, automation, and networking products.Collaborate with stakeholders and subject-matter experts to gather requirements and ensure accuracy.Analyze product specifications and recommend the best learning approach and content format.Learn the customer experience through hands-on use of networking products to ensure practical, usable content.Follow established style, process, and quality guidelines to ensure consistency and completeness.Lead or support content development projects and coordinate with other writers when required.Use AI tools to scale content creation while retaining high quality and accuracy.What you need to bringMinimum qualifications5+ years producing technical content, preferably for advanced software or networking products.BA/BS in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or related degree; networking certification or comparable experience acceptable.Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, accurate, and easy-to-use technical content.Good understanding of technology concepts: cloud computing, automation, networking, data centers, security, or other advanced software technology.Hands-on experience with network technologies: routing, switching, security, network automation, virtual machines, containers, and cloud services.Ability to research complex technical concepts independently and collaboratively.Familiarity with XML authoring, content management systems, and courseware development tools.Strong problem-solving skills and comfort making progress with incomplete information.Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.Ability to use AI tools effectively to scale content creation.Preferred qualificationsFamiliarity with DITA/XML authoring principles and broader content management concepts.Comfortable authoring in Markdown and MS PowerPoint.Experience leading documentation efforts and mentoring other writers.Familiarity with Agile program management and tools such as JIRA.Experience with HPE Aruba Networking and/or HPE Juniper Networking products and technologies.Industry network certifications.Additional Skills:Accountability, Accountability, Active Learning, Active Listening, Bias, Business, Change Management, Coaching, Communication, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Data Analysis, Design Thinking, Empathy, Follow-Through, Growth Mindset, Instructional Design, Intellectual Curiosity (Inactive), Long Term Planning, Managing Ambiguity, Organizing, Process Development (PD), Professional Presentation, Saba, Strategic Objectives {+ 2 more}What We Can Offer You:Health & WellbeingWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.Personal & Professional DevelopmentWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
