Travel Registered Nurse – NICU (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients ranging from stable feeder growers through critical Level 3 patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 within a 40-bed NICU unit
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Float to assist in other areas of the facility as needed, without taking a full assignment in another unit
• Participate in block scheduling and adhere to a maximum of one week of requested time off during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, specifically at Level 3
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Valid driver's license required for submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for a broad acuity range of neonatal patients, including critically ill Level 3 infants
• Familiarity with block scheduling environments and travel nursing expectations
