Before becoming an agent, I spent 12 years in IT marketing, but my passion for helping others, especially with financial planning, led me into agency life. I hold two Bachelor’s degrees and two Master’s degrees, and I am a proud parent of a 20 year old son studying Statistics and Mathematics at the University of Michigan. Outside of work, I enjoy volleyball, pickleball, and yoga, and I stay active in the community through cultural associations and contributions to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. ROLE DESCRIPTION: Jay Munj - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects. QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities.
