Responsibilities: Provides care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, which filters waste and excess fluid from the blood Involves ministering dialysis treatments, monitoring patients' vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, etc.) before, during, and after dialysis Sets up, monitors, and manages the dialysis machine during treatment, ensuring proper settings and patient safety Administers medications, including those to manage blood pressure, anemia, and other conditions related to kidney disease Evaluates patients' responses to dialysis treatment, identifies any adverse reactions, and makes necessary adjustments to the treatment plan Prepares patients for treatment, ensures they are comfortable, and provides post-treatment care and education Additional Requirements: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction HBHC1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
