Clinical Research Physician - Part Time

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a part-time clinical research physician to conduct and oversee clinical trials at their The Villages, Florida site. The role involves participant safety oversight, protocol compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support study execution and enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical evaluations and safety assessments of study participants
- Attend Site Initiation Visits, Pre-Selection Visits, and Investigator meetings
- Manage investigational medical products and oversee multiple concurrent studies
- Support participant recruitment and retention through community engagement and protocol expertise
- Maintain meticulous records and ensure data integrity across trial documentation
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with minimum 2 years licensed physician experience
- Active, unrestricted medical license in good standing
- ICH GCP certification (obtainable after hire)
- Strong clinical expertise and medical judgment for protocol-driven research
- Ability to collaborate across matrixed organization with multiple teams
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general computer systems
