Code Enforcement Officer

Location Tyler, TX Area Employment Type Part-time Reports to Regional Building Official Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in Code Enforcement Registered Code Enforcement Officer (RCEO) with the State of Texas required Responsibilities Conduct field inspections and investigate complaints to enforce municipal codes related to property maintenance, zoning, signage, environmental concerns, and abandoned/junk vehicles Issue notices of violation, citations, and stop-work orders; clearly communicate corrective actions to property owners, contractors, and the public Document case evidence with photographs, inspection notes, and reports; maintain accurate case files in VertexPlans Prepare and present cases andproviding testimony as required Prepare and submit weekly timesheet reports to the supervisor in accordance with company procedures Compensation & Benefits $30 – $40 per hour & 401(k) with 100% company match up to 5% , available after 90 days Part-Time — Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on client needs About Aoka Aoka is a third-party municipal services provider serving federal, state, and local governments with code compliance, inspections, and consulting.
