HVAC Commercial Account Executive (Hunter Role) Territory: Baton Rouge to Texas State Line (Lafayette-based) I’m working with a confidential mechanical services client that is a well-established HVAC service and retrofit provider supporting commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities across the region. They are continuing to invest in growth and are adding a true hunter-style Commercial Account Executive to expand service revenue within a defined territory. This is a field-based, individual contributor role for someone who enjoys building relationships from the ground up, prospecting new accounts, and closing service and retrofit work — not new construction. What You’ll Be Doing: 100% Hunter role focused on new business development Sell HVAC service, maintenance, and retrofit solutions (some refrigeration) Typical deal sizes range from $5K to $1M+ , with an average around $75K Call on facility managers, plant managers, property owners, and select property management groups Prospect through cold calling, site visits, networking, and referrals Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close Learn to estimate HVAC service and retrofit work (estimating experience is a strong plus) Partner with internal operations and service teams to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting Target Customers: Commercial office buildings Must Haves: Proven success in outside B2B sales within HVAC/R or a related commercial services industry Strong new business development skills with a hunter mentality Comfortable working independently across a large geographic territory Ability (or willingness) to learn estimating fundamentals Strong communication, organization, and closing skills Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory What’s in It for You: Uncapped commission plan tied to gross margin performance First-year commissions expected around ~ $25K+ , with significant upside Top performers earning $150K+ total compensation Mileage reimbursement and/or truck + full benefits package Stable company with long-term growth opportunity and strong operational support If you’re a true hunter looking for a service-focused sales role with real upside and autonomy, this is a strong opportunity with a client that values performance and long-term relationships. #J-18808-Ljbffr Balam Talent
