Equipment Technician III
AbbVie
Equipment Technician III position in pharmaceutical manufacturing at AbbVie's Waco facility. Responsible for maintenance and repair of production equipment, troubleshooting, documentation, and mentoring junior technicians on the B2 shift (6pm-6:30am, Wednesday-Friday plus alternating Saturdays).
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate corrective actions to reduce defects
- Assist with equipment setup and changeovers for production runs
- Complete required documentation for all maintenance and repair activities
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced technicians on procedures and changeovers
Requirements
- Associate's degree in industrial maintenance or related field plus 2-3 years industrial maintenance experience, OR high school diploma with 3-5 years experience
- Expert-level electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with multiple types of industrial manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of maintenance methods and preventive maintenance procedures
- cGMP and FDA regulated manufacturing environment experience preferred
- Current completion of all required cGMP and safety training
