Our award-winning seating solutions are developed from consumer research, finding the ease of operation to be comfortable, convenient and connected.Job Responsibilities:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Requires a Bachelors degree with a minimum of two years of experience in a Quality related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in a Quality Engineer role. Must be able to operate test equipment (i.e. CMM, Optical Comparitor etc). Must be proficient with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.JOB FUNCTIONS:Monitor and report Supplier PerformanceSupplier PPAP approvalCustomer PPAP approvalCoordinate APQP for New Programs and Product changesIATF16949:2016 Element champion or Management Representative as requiredQOS team leader or member as requiredCorrective and Preventive Action for Customer, Supplier and Production.May be chosen to be the IATF16949:2016 Management RepresentativeEnsuring that processes needed for quality management system are established, implemented and maintained.Reporting to top management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement.Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.IATF16949:2016 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor as required.Development of Control Plan and PFMEA including Receiving Control PlanComplies with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management System requirementsISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor and/or Working Group Member as required.Displays a positive attitude towards safety, works safely, follows all company policies and reports all unsafe and unhealthy conditions.Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.Complies with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards in accordance with the Magna Employee Charter and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.The above is intended to describe the general content of and the requirements for the performance of this position.
