Systems Engineer 1

Location & Schedule Canton, MS – Full‑time, Hybrid (four days on‑site) Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Responsibilities Support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other production‑related software platforms. Develop, test, and implement software solutions used within manufacturing operations. Troubleshoot system issues and identify root causes to improve uptime and reliability. Assist with modifications and enhancements to support production changes and new model launches. Work with cross‑functional teams to design and implement automation and control system improvements. Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for process optimization. Support the installation and integration of new or modified manufacturing systems. Manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting MES, PLC programming, and/or software development within a manufacturing environment. Experience with Microsoft .NET (C#), Visual Basic, and SQL. Knowledge of object‑oriented programming and software development principles. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to gather requirements and develop technical solutions that meet business needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Desired Experience Experience with GE Cimplicity. Experience with MES platforms. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Automotive manufacturing experience. Experience supporting factory automation or industrial control systems. Exposure to manufacturing automation, process controls, or plant‑floor systems. Experience working with system integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.
