Anesthesiologist
Cross Country Locums
- Work Dates Needed : July 27th trough December with possible extension
- Preferred Schedule : 12H shifts. Expected to work 2 weeks at a time.
- Worksite Setting : Inpatient
- Scope of Work : Anesthesia
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements : Active NY license, BLS/ACLS, DEA. EPIC experience a huge plus
- EMR : EPIC
- ~300-bed community hospital
- ~9 operating rooms + ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center)
- Trauma Level II
- Mix of:
- Independent MD coverage, with charge anesthesiologist occasionally supervisiing
- Team-based CRNA model
- General surgery
- Orthopedics (joint repairs, fractures, etc.)
- ENT (otolaryngology)
- General pediatrics
- Urology / GYN-type procedures
- Non-operating room anesthesia (NORA) (GI, IR, etc.)
- No open-heart, intracranial neurosurgery, or intensive
