Substance Use Treatment/PHP Clinician

Description Professional - Clinical Req #: 84714 Summary: The Substance Use Treatment/PHP Clinician role is responsible for individual intake and psychosocial assessments; clinical triage, group facilitation in an intensive outpatient setting, care coordination, documenting findings of evaluations and progress in clients' medical records; conducting and documenting individual, couple, and family counseling, maintaining contact with community resources for after care and providing comprehensive discharge planning services. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMSW-CC (Licensed Master Social Worker, Conditional Clinical) or LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) required. State license to practice as a LADC and CADC preferred. Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting preferred. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Experience with clinical methods and techniques used in individual, family and group therapy related to mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
