Occupational Therapist – Inpatient / Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Must be available to work weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in an acute care inpatient hospital setting
• Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients, including those seen on the day of surgery
• Deliver therapy services across a 7-day-per-week schedule, including weekends and select holidays
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• NBCOT certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
• Inpatient orthopedic experience required
• Must be willing to work weekends and commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU experience is helpful
• Prior travel contract experience in an acute care environment
