Experienced Parts Counterperson

Position Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm, Occasional Saturdays 8:00am to 3:00pm The Experienced Parts Counterperson will need: Minimum 2 years of automotive parts counter experience Kia Certification is a strong plus Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Ability to prioritize and stay productive in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work effectively with technicians, service advisors, customers, and other team members Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude Comfortable using computers and automotive parts catalog system The Experienced Parts Countersperson Responsabilities: Assist automotive technicians with identifying and sourcing the correct parts for repairs Handle walk-in retail customers and provide professional, knowledgeable service Look up parts using electronic parts catalogs and manufacturer systems Write and manage parts orders accurately and efficiently Coordinate with the Service Department and Parts Team to keep repairs moving Maintain accurate inventory and assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing parts Handle multiple customers, technicians, phone calls, and orders simultaneously Work as part of a team to provide excellent service and maintain an efficient department The Experienced Parts Counterperson will receive: Anthem Blue Cross Medical insurance MetLife Vision and Dental insurance 401(k) through Empower Access to Disability coverage through Aflac 1 Week Vacation after the First Year, 2 Weeks after Two Years 6 Paid Sick Days per year 6 Paid Holidays per year Paid Training Custom and Competitive Wage and Bonus Plans Career Advancement and Growth Opportunities Employee Discounts on Parts and Services Employee Vehicle Purchase Program Work Environment OSHA-certified to current air-quality standards Highly-productive Shop Who We Are At Danbury Automotive Group, we strive to make every customer a customer for life.
