Radiology Technologist (RT)

Our client, a leading health system in Garden City, KS, is seeking a Radiology Technologist (RT) to join their team. This is a full-time position in the Diagnostic Imaging Center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
• Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs and following standards of safe radiation practice.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities and serve as a role model for other associate technologists.
• Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologists, and other hospital personnel.
• Ensure current standards of practice for the unit are met.

Requirements:

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging, including Surgery and Trauma as required.
• One year post-certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) required.
• Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required.
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

Schedule:

• Full-time position with a night shift schedule.

Compensation:

• $23.43 - $35.61/hour
