Physical Therapist Assistant – Home Health Make a Difference Every Day Bella Terra Home Health and Hospice of the Desert is dedicated to delivering life-changing service through compassionate, high-quality home health and hospice care. We are growing rapidly and seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Pay Range: $45.00–$55.00/hr. Status: Full Time. Coverage Area: Coachella Valley. Responsibilities Providing direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and according to the physician’s plan of care. Treating patients to alleviate pain, restore function, and maximize mobility. Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer techniques, and muscle reeducation. Utilizing physical therapy modalities such as heat, cold, water therapy, electricity, ultrasound, and massage. Observing and reporting changes in patient conditions to the Physical Therapist and clinical team. Educating patients on the safe use of mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and orthotics/prosthetics. Completing accurate, timely clinical documentation and notes. Requirements Active California Physical Therapist Assistant License. Current CPR certification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management abilities. Valid driver’s license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle. Previous home health or hospice experience preferred (but not required). Why Join Bella Terra Home Health & Hospice of the Desert?
