Vacuum Truck Driver

Qualifications Class B CDL Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements Clean Driving Record (No major traffic violations, tickets or accidents for the last 7 years.) Must pass pre-employment DOT physical/drug screening Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted on a regular basis Ability to pass background checks for secure facility access Responsibilities Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines. Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspection and maintain inspection reports. Maintain daily mileage logs and work tickets. Use specialized equipment to jet and vacuum storm, sanitary, water lines and conduits. Hydro excavation by using a nozzle attached to a high-pressure water gun or lance to soft dig into the ground. Safely operate commercial vehicle while driving and maneuvering in a variety of situations, such as heavy traffic, construction sites, and tight areas within Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Maintain assigned vehicle(s) to a high standard of cleanliness. Ensure the company’s health and safety culture, policies and requirements are met. Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers. Job Details Job Type: Full-Time, Year-Round Location: Lorton, Virginia Working Hours: Start time is 6:30 AM. Overtime, nights and weekends may be required.
