Description:The Occupational Health Registered Nurse is responsible for providing clinical health services.The nurse ensures compliance with state and federal requirements and organizational policies.This position is integral to delivering high-quality occupational and environmental health services.Responsibilities include performing pre-employment health screens in collaboration with human resources and management.The nurse is responsible for providing and managing surveillance services such as tuberculosis and hazardous drugs.Confidentiality and accuracy of employee health records are critical aspects of this role.Participation in committees and sharing of employee health data is expected.The nurse will assess and provide vaccinations in accordance with established policies.Clinical expertise is provided regarding caregivers with infectious diseases.Management of caregiver exposures to blood or body fluids will follow established protocols.Travel to various sites may be required to provide on-site services as directed.Awareness of resources for caregiver well-being and injury prevention will be maintained.Contributing to the development of standard operating procedures and clinical standard work is part of the role.Maintaining adequate inventory of supplies is necessary.Utilization and functionality of equipment must be ensured.The nurse seeks to acquire knowledge in the area of specialty. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
