Marketing Coordinator

SFS Architecture is a full-service architecture, interior design, and planning firm based in Kansas City, Missouri. Position Summary SFS Architecture is looking for a creative and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The right candidate will have three (3) or more years of experience in the A/E/C, design, or design-adjacent industry. This person should be a self-starter who can collaborate with our various teams and contribute creative ideas and solutions. Primary Responsibilities Collaborate with the marketing team and firm leadership on a variety of marketing initiatives Develop, produce, and ensure the timely delivery of top-quality, high-impact proposal and qualification packages and other print and digital marketing collateral Assist in the maintenance of digital marketing channels such as company website and social media platforms Develop and maintain marketing communication assets including boilerplate, graphics, photos, templates, and proposal materials Assist in the coordination of award submissions Assist in the coordination of photo/video shoots Event planning and coordination Support public relations activities Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s portfolio of work, practice areas, people, and firm-wide capabilities Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business Communications, or related field Knowledge of architectural, engineering and/or construction industry preferred Creative thinker and awareness of design principles Skilled writer, editor, and proofreader (samples are requested) Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Expertise in Microsoft Office Experience with WordPress or other CMS, popular social media platforms, and integrated marketing tools Experience with Open Asset, Cosential, or similar data management tool(s) preferred Ability to thoughtfully communicate, both verbally and in writing Ability to self-manage workload to meet deadlines Ability to work collaboratively with studio staff and external partners Highly organized and detail oriented Strong desire to stay ahead of marketing communication trends Ability to research and apply emerging technologies Why Join SFS At SFS Architecture, you will contribute to projects that have a visible and lasting impact on communities throughout the region and beyond.
