Our growth creates opportunities for advancement, leadership visibility, and long-term career development while maintaining the supportive, close-knit environment that sets us apart.If you're ready to grow your career while supporting important national missions, we'd love to connect with you.What You'll DoSupport mission-critical programs in secure government environmentsAnalyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality resultsEnsure compliance with contract and security standardsContribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performanceBe responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Write and edit technical documentation for all the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation. Create code documentation for software, produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities, provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation, and format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.This project provides, but is not limited to, High-Capacity Sensor Operations (HCSO) Integrated Operations Center (HIOC) documentation support, process and system documentation support, configuration management support, process support, and training support, to include HCSO business process training and foreign partner system training courses. You must be a "power user" in the following applications: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint as well as Atlassian Jira and Confluence. Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.Write and edit technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation.What You BringActive TS/SCI with PolygraphExperience supporting government or DoD programsAbility to work independently and within a collaborative team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsSix (6) years' experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, complexity is required.A bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Four additional years of TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Preferred QualificationsRelevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, PMP, AWS, etc.)Agile, cloud, or modernization experienceBackground in process improvement or analytical servicesCompensation & BenefitsThe projected salary range for this position is $114,300-$127,000, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and contract requirements.At Weeghman & Briggs, we believe our people are our greatest strength.
