Job Description The Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center is seeking BC/BE Pediatric, Family Medicine or Adolescent Medicine Physicians to provide primary care in one of our High School-Based Health Centers in Manhattan. Since its establishment in 1968 as the first primary care program in New York specifically created for the health needs of teens, the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center (MSAHC) has grown to become a model of excellence in adolescent health care nationally and worldwide. We serve more than 12,000 young people each year, offering high‑quality, comprehensive, integrated, and confidential care at no cost to patients. Role Summary Adolescent Medicine Attending Physician The Adolescent Medicine Attending Physician collaborates with the MSAHC Medical and Deputy Medical Directors of Primary Care and Mental Health to develop and manage primary and reproductive health care for young people in accordance with MSAHC’s mission, Mount Sinai policies, New York State regulations, funder guidelines, and best practices in adolescent medicine. Duties include assessments, planning, teaching, and counseling as appropriate. Qualifications MD Degree with Board Eligible/Certification in Family Medicine or Pediatrics Adolescent Medicine board certification or eligibility; New York Medical License Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team‑oriented, performance‑driven health center Compensation range: $143,000 – $302,000 (excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, and benefits). Deliver primary and specialty adolescent and young adult health care, reproductive services (including LARC), LGBTQ care (including gender‑affirming therapy), care for youth with HIV, eating disorders, and chronic disease. Teach and precept adolescent medicine fellows, pediatric residents, Icahn School of Medicine medical students in the outpatient setting, and serve as attending physician on the inpatient adolescent medicine consultation service at Kravis Children’s Hospital. Participate in research, including NIH‑funded HPV studies and quality‑assurance projects, and support fellowship research. Engage in administrative duties, including developing new programs and serving on medical school/hospital committees.
