A long-term substitute teacher's job description includes full classroom instruction, lesson planning and adaptation, student assessment and grading, and communication with staff and parents, providing education continuity for an absent teacher. A long-term teacher sub in Albia Schools could be assigned daily to different classrooms, grade levels, and content areas throughout the District.
