Project Coordinator in Austin

Now hiring a Project Coordinator in Austin, Texas (Bee Caves Rd. area) L.K. Jordan & Associates is partnering with a leading testing and research organization to hire a Project Coordinator. Pay: $24–$26 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM This position plays a key role in supporting laboratory operations by coordinating projects, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure testing workflows move efficiently from authorization through reporting. What You’ll Do Coordinate Project Setup & Tracking Organize and maintain detailed project files and sample information after project approval Verify receipt of authorized work orders and assist with internal setup for lab readiness Monitor active projects to help ensure smooth progression through each phase of testing Serve as a Communication Point Provide clear, accurate updates to clients regarding testing status and processing stages Follow established communication guidelines to ensure consistency and professionalism Support Workflow Track daily activities, testing progress, and internal handoffs between teams Stay aligned with project priorities and timelines across multiple active jobs Identify and document any workflow or scheduling issues that could impact turnaround times Prepare, review, and organize laboratory and project documentation Enter and reconcile data Maintain records that support QA/QC standards, accreditation requirements, and traceability Assist with Reporting Support the preparation and release of laboratory reports Cross-check results against project documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency Participate in a rotating Saturday schedule (every 4–6 weeks for 2–4 hours) to assist with report review and distribution What We’re Looking For 4+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and demonstrated capability in: Project coordination Administrative support Inside sales or similar roles Experience working in or around laboratory environments is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Solid communication and organizational skills Comfortable working with data systems and tracking tools Why Join Us?
