Data Engineer

Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience as a product analyst, business analyst, or similar role in a digital or operational transformation environment focused on customer or associate facing solutions
- Strong understanding of operations workflows and processes, preferably in financial services or other regulated industry
- Ability to translate technical requirements and operational processes into intuitive, actionable product requirements
- Demonstrated experience informing product strategy and delivery, including opportunity identification, solution design, and working with technology teams for delivery
- Proficient with tools such as JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence, Miro, or other analytics and product planning tools
- Proficient with agile development methodologies and working with cross-functional product teams, engineering teams and business stakeholders
- Strong communicator with proven stakeholder management and storytelling skills; Effectively conveys in technology terms verbal and written with usage of data and visualizations
- Problem-solver that can identify issues, explore solutions and identify next course of action
- Ability to have hard conversations with business stakeholders thru strong presentation skills of the data and analysis that helps influence the outcome of their decisions
- Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general.
- Strong understanding and experience with complex relational database schemas and SQL management tools
