Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position is available in a healthcare facility in Burlington, Vermont. This inpatient role involves providing respiratory care in adult and pediatric general units, including ICU settings. The position requires flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to a variety of clinical environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Burlington, Vermont
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: NBRC, BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS are required
• Education & Experience: Must be registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience; prior travel experience preferred. All specialties previously worked in must be well documented.
• Responsibilities: Managing adult and pediatric critically ill patients, including those requiring mechanical ventilation and emergency respiratory interventions. Handling a variety of cases in adult ICUs, PICU, and general floors, with willingness to expand neonatal skills.
• Additional Requirements: Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years is mandatory. Must have current Vermont licensure. Past experience includes working in Level 1, 2, or 3 Trauma facilities. No recent NICU experience, but eager to learn neonatal protocols.
• Employment Details: No block schedules; bi-weekly orientations on Mondays. Candidates must have reliable transportation as public transit is inaccessible. All work history (bed count, EMR, facility type) must be complete for submission. Gaps over 90 days should be explained.
