Courthouse Flex Officer (Full-Time) | $20/hr + Non-Taxable Perks | Based in Yuba City, CA | Travel Required

At Precision Private Security, our Courthouse Flex Officers are our rapid-response professionals. We rely on them to fill critical gaps, cover courthouse assignments across Northern California, and represent our brand with confidence, professionalism, and zero drama. This role is not for clock-punchers—it’s for high-trust, mission-ready officers who thrive on being the go-to when others can’t step up.

• $20.00/hour base pay
• Nontaxable mileage reimbursement for travel beyond the local Yuba City area—more money in your pocket
• Nontaxable per diem/meal stipend for extended shifts or travel days
• Hotel/lodging covered when overnight stays are necessary
• Paid for training, debriefs, and reporting time
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:
• Travel up to 2.5 hours from our Yuba City HQ to assigned courthouses
• Step into scheduled, shortnotice, or emergency coverage roles with professionalism and authority
• Handle entry screening, access control, presence patrols, and public interaction in highprofile government settings
• Maintain realtime communication with our dispatch and operations teams for shift coordination
• Write professional shift logs and report documentation in accordance with court protocols
• Operate as a representative of Precision across multiple jurisdictions—you’re not just filling in, you’re holding the line

If you need predictability or fixed shifts, this role isn’t for you. Some assignments are scheduled weeks out; others are same-day call-ins. Last-minute coverage is part of the job. But if you’re adaptable, organized, and know how to pivot under pressure—you’ll thrive here.

Minimum Requirements:
• Valid California Guard Card (must be current)
• Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean record
• Personal, reliable vehicle (fuel and mileage reimbursement provided)
• Must be 25+ (fleet vehicle insurance standards)
• Selfstarter who shows up sharp and manages their own time
• Able to interact professionally with court personnel, law enforcement, and the public
Bonus Qualifications:
• Prior courthouse or government building security experience
• Mobile patrol or traveling post experience
• Military, law enforcement, or judicial sector background
• First Aid / CPR / AED certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly valued

Initial Training (Before Applying)☐ Complete 8-hour BSIS-certified training course:

Application & Background Check

☐ Submit Live Scan fingerprint background check (DOJ & FBI)

☐ Pay BSIS application fee (~$50–$60)

First-Year Required Training (Post-Approval)☐ Complete additional 32 hours of BSIS-mandated training: ☐ 16 hours within first 30 days:

☐ Public Relations (Community & Customer) – 4 hrs

☐ Observation & Documentation – 4 hrs

☐ Communication and Its Significance – 4 hrs

☐ Liability / Legal Aspects – 4 hrs

☐ 16 hours within 6 months:

Annual Continuing Education

☐ Complete 8-hour refresher course annually

☐ Must be at least 18 years old

☐ Cannot begin work until Guard Card is approved OR you have BSIS approval screen-print with photo ID
