Actuarial Life Process StewardThis position will assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of new and existing technology solutions for the life production valuation team. The ideal candidate will aid in developing data & analytics requirements for solutions to improve data warehousing, financial reporting, reserve analytics, and various automation efforts. They will also develop a detailed understanding of the various administration systems, modelling systems and reporting tools to help design a long-term solution for all valuation data needs. This position provides a broad range of experiences and responsibilities, allowing for growth.What you'll be doing:Gain in-depth knowledge of monthly, quarterly and annual valuation production duties for GAAP, Stat and Tax for all Life products, including business valued under PBR Stat requirements and LDTI GAAP accounting standardsAssist in maintaining and improving financial reporting controls and governance structuresParticipate in requests with auditors, consultants, and other external audiences on the topics of reserving and financial reporting methodsMaintain existing reporting processes as new requirements arise due to financial transactions, reinsurance deals or changes in regulatory requirementsReview existing processes looking for improvements or corrections and evaluate efficient remediation.Demonstrate new capabilities for improvements with proof-of-concept buildsPartner with stakeholders including valuation and modeling actuaries and developers including IT and consulting resources to implement more efficient/robust data solutionsHelp reduce manual deliverables by transitioning to more automated solutionsIncrease transparency, efficiency, and governance of processes by maintaining robust process and production documentationUpskill team members with emerging technology toolsWhat we're looking for:FSA designation or ASA designation with additional years of actuarial experience.Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or Data Analytics or other quantitative major5-7+ Years' experience that aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.Ideal candidate has strong SQL Server skills.Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative styleCuriosity and demonstrated capability to quickly learn new conceptsSelf-starter, Innovative, Problem SolverExperience with Dataiku, Tableau, SAS, Python, MSAccess, MSExcel, ALFA/IntegrateApplication Deadline: Applications for this position will be accepted through December 6th, 2026 subject to earlier closure due to applicant volume.What's it like to work here? Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
