The Housekeeping Supervisor assists in scheduling room, turndown and linen attendants. The responsibility of a Housekeeping Supervisor also includes providing feedback, coaching and training for better performance to room attendants and general cleaners. Also provides administrative support for the department as needed. This position may also be required to clean rooms, public areas, assist in Laundry, and any other duty as assigned.* Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all guest contact.* Respond to individual guest needs as they occur.* Clean and maintain all assigned rooms and suites daily, including stripping linen, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking of room lights and equipment, air conditioner unit, television, spot cleaning, and stocking all room supplies.* Supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons, including the re-cleaning of any items missed or not cleaned to Ko’a Kea Hotel & Resort cleanliness standards.* Report any items missing from rooms and suites.* Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.* Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers.* Accurately report all items in need of repair to the supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.* Actively listens to others.* Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.* Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and co-workers.* Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers.* Thoroughly completes projects and assignments professionally with care.* Adjusts to high pressure conditions and is open to change.* Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.* Conducts him/herself (acts and dresses) professionally at all times; sets standards for all.* Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.* Scrupulously follows all Ko’a Kea Hotel & Resort policies and procedures.# what you will bring* High school education preferred.* Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Supervisor preferred.* Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.* Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.* Hearing, writing, typing.* Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.* Other duties may be assigned.# great if you have* Must have knowledge of all hotel departments and events.* Must have good mathematical and computer skills.* High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education preferred.
