Your Responsibilities as a Driver and General Laborer for Junk King Driving the Truck – You’ll be driving the company vehicle to each job site. No special license is required! Removing Junk – This could be anything from moving a couch to cleaning out an entire house or business. Working with Our Customers – You will engage directly with our customers to help them with their unique individual projects. Collecting Payment – You’ll collect payment from customers once the job is complete. Here’s How to Know You’re a Great Fit You are a safe experienced driver. And you are comfortable driving a truck. You don’t need a trucking license, just a good driving record. You don’t want to be stuck on the phone or behind a desk in an office all day. You like being physically active and getting around to new and different places every day. You are strong – that means you can lift 75 pounds without assistance. We work hard to make sure that you have enough jobs for the day so that you can earn better pay, so we need you to show up and keep on pace to complete the jobs on the schedule. Customer ratings – Happy customers mean happy reviews… and good tips! You’ll know you are doing a great job when we get great feedback from the customers you visit. We work great together because we are all also working on ourselves and on how we can help each other. Job Requirements for the Driver Position at Junk King Must be able to independently lift 75 lbs. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be fluent in English. Bilingual is definitely a plus! Benefits & Pay The pay range for this Driver position averages $22.00 to $26.00 + depending on your prior job experience and performance. You will also have the opportunity to earn bonuses and cash tips. There is also a Profit Sharing plan for those who have been with us a while. Pay includes base pay, plus bonus, plus overtime, and tips.
