Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
The RN ICU provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. This position requires a high level of clinical expertise and the ability to respond quickly to patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients to identify changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions.
• Educate patients and their families about their condition and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
