Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Full-time Position

Location - Syracuse, NY

Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is looking for an eager Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team! The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for following treatment plans to assist residents in restoring their day to day functionality and providing personable solutions to accommodate resident needs. The goal of Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is to aims to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical ailment. This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Education & Experience:

• Active New York State Physical Therapist Assistant licensure (new program graduates are encouraged to apply!)

• Knowledge of DOH regulations and CMS guidelines (recommended, but not required)

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Physical Requirements

·        Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, and crouch

·        Ability to write, speak, read English language (Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply!!)
