Aerospace Prototype CNC Mill Programmer/Operator

Build for Flight—Own the CutImagine starting your shift with a complex aerospace drawing and leaving with a finished, inspection-ready part. You’ll program tweaks at the control, set up 3- and 5-axis mills, and validate every critical dimension as you go. This role is about mastery, not monotony.MissionTransform engineering intent into precision-machined components that meet aerospace-grade standards. Your craftsmanship ensures reliability where it matters most.Impact & ResponsibilitiesIndependently set up, adjust, and run CNC milling centers (3-axis and 5-axis) for high-accuracy work.Read and apply engineering blueprints/drawings to achieve exact specifications.Enter offsets, refine parameters, and make on-control program edits (G-code/M-code) as needed.Measure in-process features with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to confirm dimensions.Troubleshoot machine and process issues; perform basic preventive maintenance.Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe work area.What Success Looks LikeConsistent adherence to tight tolerances and GD&T requirements.Proactive program and offset adjustments that reduce rework.Reliable setups across both 3-axis and 5-axis VMCs.Qualifications3+ years in CNC milling with 3-axis and/or 5-axis experience.Fluent in blueprint reading; able to hold tight tolerances.Strong shop math and a keen eye for detail.Experience with controls: Fanuc, Fidia C20, Siemens, Haas, or similar.Working knowledge of G-code and M-code.Employment DetailsJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personThis is detail-oriented, high-skill machining—not repetitive production.
