GRILL COOK (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations to ensure high-quality food service is provided. Location 19 River Road South, Putney, VT 05346. Schedule Full-time; days and hours may vary; flexibility included. Pay Range $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation; completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations. Serves customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food temperature and quality; tastes all prepared items. Uses established ticket‑collection procedures; responsible for service records. Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, temperatures and portion control. Carries pans, kettles and trays to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator per safety standards. Stores foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, rotation and food safety procedures. Cleans, sanitizes and maintains assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to meet sanitation standards. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor. Attends in‑service and safety meetings. Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers and managers. Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior cooking experience preferred.
