Retail Sales Supervisor - Full Time

Position Summary The incumbent assists the Store Manager with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, recruiting, training, profits, and maintaining store standards. In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, supervises and manages all store personnel, implementing and enforcing company policies, procedures, corporate directives, and establishing control-related standards and procedures. As part of a team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences, you will introduce our customers to the most innovative premium denim and contribute to the continued success of our brand. The Sales Supervisor’s key role is to ensure the highest level of customer engagement is met and sales results are achieved. Job Type Part-time Key Responsibilities Contribute to overall store success by ensuring store sales goals and individual sales goals are met. Deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales by styling and advising customers based on their needs. Set the example for customer engagement that exceeds industry standards. Build client relationships and drive store sales through brand excitement. Assist with training, coaching, developing and motivating associates to achieve maximum sales productivity. Lead the store team, serving as the expert on company culture, store operations, and policies & procedures. Manage payroll, ensuring payroll goals are met within established guidelines to maintain proper coverage. Execute directives from Visual Merchandising, Operations and Marketing, communicating information and meeting deadlines. Communicate with Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager regarding employee relations, day-to-day operations, and compliance matters, and set goals for personal skill development. Represent the brand and ensure team members embody the brand in all interactions with customers and peers. Ensure Loss Prevention policies and procedures are followed, assist with financial/sales audits and inventories to protect the store. Required Skills Strong leadership ability. Education/Experience Minimum 2 years related professional sales experience in specialty or luxury retail and/or customer service, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements Repetitive hand motion while operating cash register or computer. Regular public interaction in a crowded and noisy store environment. Standing required for entire shift. Operate office equipment such as computer, phone, fax, scanner and copier. Work weekend and night shifts. Climb ladders as needed. Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds as needed.
