Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Summary: Provide specialized cardiovascular surgical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role requires ensuring patient safety, supporting surgical procedures, and coordinating with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes. Responsibilities: Administer pre-operative and post-operative care for cardiovascular surgery patients. Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, escalating concerns as necessary. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals during procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, treatments, and procedures. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Support patient education and communicate treatment plans effectively. Qualifications: Current RN license with valid state licensure. Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiovascular or advanced surgical nursing. Certification in BLS and ACLS required. Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
