Physician - MD/DO - Urgent Care

Job Description SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to join our Urgent Care team at our newest facility at the Streets of Caledonia in O'Fallon, MO. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages with acute and urgent health issues. This role requires clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing for all patients Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses, injuries, and infections Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and other therapies as appropriate Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes Urgent Care schedule 15-20-minute visits 8 am - 8 pm The position involves direct patient contact and requires the ability to stand and move throughout the clinic for extended periods Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the urgent care needs of patients Benefits Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan with employer match Generous paid time off and holiday pay Continuing education opportunities and support for professional development About SSM Health With care delivery sites in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin, SSM Health provides convenient access to high-quality community-based services as well as world-class academic medicine, clinical trials, and research studies.
